Hangin in the Jungle

Avery is sitting up on her own now and is getting a different view of her jungle and the friends she plays with on a daily basis : o)

Avery is now working on her sitting skills. She is good for a couple of seconds and then flops to her side or tripods into the middle with both hands out in front of her. This position is my favorite because she reminds me of a Chinese acrobat, folding herself in half : o)

Six months old : o )

Avery is six months old now and celebrated her one and only half birthday on the 12th of October. She is 25.5 inches long and weighs in at 14lbs 5 oz. The newest milestone Av is working on, is sitting up on her own. It is so fun to watch our little bean go through these life changes, and how happy it makes her.

Avery's first experience with rice cereal.

Avery will be six months on the 12th of October and we can't believe how fast the time has gone. She is now starting to eat from a spoon. She likes carrots and bananas, but she's not quit sure about sweet potatoes and peaches. For rice cereal, we are going to have to stick to giving it to her in the bottle at night. I'm not going to lie, it's kind of funny to watch her attempt to eat it. I have never seen a baby gag so much on anything like this little girl does with rice cereal : o)
