Avery has discovered how much fun a cup can be : o )

Nine month old "Bean" : o )

Our little Avery bean is not so little anymore. We just celebrated her nine month birthday. She is now weighing in at 16 lbs. 6 oz. and is 27 in. long. She is all over the place, crawling normally on carpet and has gained the nickname peg leg while crawling on any hard surface. To save her knees, she will tuck her left knee into the crawling stance and stick her right leg straight out to the side of her. This stabilizes herself so all she has to do is use her hands to propel herself forward. I have never seen a baby do anything quit like it before : o ) She is so much fun right now. She is full of personality and will not stop talking, "babbling" if you will. With her being all over the place, we have now adopted the saying "No Avery, that's not your toy!!!" : o )

We helped celebrate Aunt Casey's birthday at Papa and Nana's house on Jan. 9th 2011. Papa and Nana made beer battered code and home made ham fried rice for dinner. We had a great time and Avery had fun with Aunt Casey and the dogs : o )
