Sleepover at Grandma and Grandpa Kirch's house

Nice bedhead Av : o)

The fire from the loft window.
These pictures don't do anything for the fire. The mountain side in Herriman that can be seen out our back windows burned Sunday night 9/18 due to weekend worriers played at Camp Williams just over the other side of the mountain. We lost three homes and over 1500 people were evacuated. We were able to return home the next day, however, over 200 people were homeless for four days. Our house smelled of smoke for four days, but at least we have a house to clean.

Hangin out in the back yard

Avery hangin out in the grass for the first time.

She is five months and can almost sit up by herself now. This has been such a fun age. She continues to babble and blow raspberries and now she has added laughing out loud : o) So cute, she laughed at the dog the other day for the first time and had both mom and dad laughing as well.

The jump-a-roo : o)

Thanks aunt Paige. Avery loves her new jump-a-roo. She can't touch the ground yet, but she can't get enough of the toys that surround her : o)

The big kid tub : o)

Avery has graduated to the big kid tub now and loves to splash around : 0)

Yellowstone Sept., 2010: Last night steak fray

Last night in the trailer and Av is out cold after a long day of playing at Old Faithful : o)

Steak fray at grandma and grandpa's trailer on our last night in West Yellowstone. We had a blast and can't wait to go again. Wonderful place and great company makes for a good camping trip : o)

Yellowstone Sept., 2010: Old Faithful

Waiting for Old Faithful to erupt.

It has been said that Old Faithful is "fizzing out". It's eruption continues to decrease in size.

Mom and Av in front of Old Faithful

The buffalo are like cows around here, they don't get spooked by anyone.

Dad and Av geared up to see Old Faithful.

Yellowstone Sept., 2010: Camping fun : o)

Mom and dad hangin with Avery having fun camping.

One of the bears searching for his food that has been hidden by children in the habitat.

Mom and Avery waiting to watch two of the Grizzly bears find their food.

In West Yellowstone, there is a grizzly bear and wolf preservation that houses seven grizzlies and eight wolves. These bears and wolves were rescued from the wild after having not so great meeting with humans. Most of them were abandoned after their mothers were killed by humans.
